Interwoven

This site-specific land art installation explores the invisible relationships that exist between humans, nature, memory, and space. Using pink threads stretched between the trunks of living trees, I created a temporary network that visually connects individual elements of the forest into a shared structure.
The thread functions as a drawing in space, revealing connections that are normally unseen. Each tree stands independently, yet the woven lines suggest a hidden system of interdependence, much like the ecological relationships that sustain a forest. The work highlights the tension between natural growth and human intervention, where a minimal gesture can transform the perception of an entire landscape.
Because the material is fragile and temporary, the installation embraces impermanence. Light, wind, shadow, and the movement of viewers continuously alter its appearance. The work invites reflection on our relationship with the environment and reminds us that every living system is connected through delicate yet essential bonds.

It is an initiative of a group of Artists where they try to discover the relationship of different elements of nature through interaction with the environment, space, and place. Experience and understanding regarding nature, the raw essence of rural village Najirpur village near the Jointy River - their affinity towards nature, their way of living, all combined to form a visual experience that takes up the physical form of artwork.
